Highbrow joined the marines straight out of high school. He took Basic at MCRD, San Diego, then moved to Camp Pendleton where he began actual combat training. Changed MOS to artillary and transferred to Fort Sill in Oklahoma for training. Highbrow saw action in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and served with distinction. Served shortly as an MP for the American Embassy in Iraq before being transferred back to Fort Sill to train new GI Joe recruits. This eventually lead to his current assignment as GI Joes Artillary Specialist.
Highbrow is expert with M-16/M203 grenade launcher as well as the M249 SAW weapon.

Highbrow doesn't believe he's the best. He is constantly trying to improve on everything he does. He is an extreme perfectioninst and never stops until the mission is accomplished. Does it make him cocky? Nope, just better than the best!
