If Vipers are the bottom of the totem pole in the Cobra ranks, then Sky Vipers are the same for the air division. All pilots start as Sky Vipers. Very few see combat, and they are always called upon when there is a new air vehicle to test before it moves to the more experianced pilots. They don't really mind, because when they do get a chance to show their prowess, they know it is a step to the more advanced fighters such as the Crimson Hydra or the Night Raven. Each one is trained in the complete operation of the vehicles they fly, including preflight, maintenance and repairs, so when one of the sophisticated vehicles break down, it is up to them to get it back in the air. This, of course, gives them a little respect. If an Air Viper wants to rely on his Night Raven, he surely does not want to anger a Sky Viper.

Don't ever underestimate us. We have a lot to prove and nothing to lose. Our Gunships may not be the best arial vehicle in Cobras hangar, but we know how to make it a lot of trouble for you when we get riled.
